Delete your account
Weatherwise is a weather app for Android by Digital Edge Media Group, LLC. This section explains how to delete your Weatherwise account and what happens to your data. Read the Privacy Policy for everything Weatherwise collects and why.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Weatherwise.
- On the Today screen, tap the account button that shows your plan: Free account or Weatherwise Plus.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the message, then tap Delete account again to confirm.
Deletion starts right away and can’t be undone. If a step can’t finish at once, our service keeps retrying automatically until the deletion is complete. Weatherwise then continues as a new guest.
If you can’t use the app
Email support@goweatherwise.com from the email address on your account (the address you signed in with, such as your Google account’s address) and ask us to delete your Weatherwise account.
Before we delete anything, we email that address and ask you to confirm the request. Once you confirm, we delete your account within 45 days.
Cancel Weatherwise Plus first
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Google Play subscription, and neither does uninstalling the app. To stop future charges, cancel Weatherwise Plus in Google Play before you delete your account: open your subscriptions in the Google Play Store (play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions), choose Weatherwise and tap Cancel subscription. In Weatherwise, the account screen’s Manage subscription button opens the same place.
What is deleted
- Your Weatherwise account, including your name and email address if you signed in.
- Your saved places and synced settings (interests, favorite activity and units).
- Your customer record at RevenueCat, which manages Weatherwise Plus purchases, including your purchase history there and any email address it holds.
- Our copy of your subscription status.

Google keeps its own records of Google Play purchases under its own privacy policy.

Guest accounts
If you never signed in, Weatherwise used a guest account: a random ID with no name or email address. Guest accounts with no activity for 90 days are deleted automatically, for example after you uninstall the app. If you bought Weatherwise Plus as a guest, Delete account is also on the account screen. The 90-day cleanup doesn’t delete a guest account’s customer record at RevenueCat, if there is one: it stays under the random ID, with no name or email address, and keeps any purchase history. If the guest account bought Plus, our copy of its subscription status is deleted once it has been inactive for 400 days.
